Payne leads JCS past TCA

A big fourth quarter was enough Tuesday night as Jackson Christian School defeated rival Trinity Christian Academy 57-51 in boys’ action. TCA led 35-34 as the fourth quarter began, but the Eagles surged to the win in the final eight minutes. Jonathan Payne led JCS (2-1) with 15 points and Cody Jones added 12. Roger Tatum had a huge game for TCA (2-1), pouring in 26 points to lead all scorers.
