It’s been said many times that the true character of man can be determined by what he does when nobody is looking. Three weeks ago at exactly 4 o’clock in the Raleigh–Egypt gym a dozen or so Pharaoh basketball players were doing various things. One was leaning against the bleachers listening to an I–pod. A couple more were talking to a girl. Others were still in the locker room. Maurice Miller, who is arguably the best player in Memphis and has already secured a scholarship to Georgia Tech, one of the top programs in the country, knew exactly what time it was. The Pharaohs begin practice at exactly 4 o’clock every afternoon.  But head Coach Jimmy Adams had to run to the store for supplies…
