Photo by Gary Smith A year ago South Fulton started the season 6-0, but missed the postseason. That won’t be the case this year. Thanks to a 3-2 District 14-A record (5-4 overall), the Red Devils have already qualified for the Class A playoffs, regardless of the outcome of Friday night’s game against Union City. South Fulton will finish second among Class 1A teams in the district, making them an automatic qualifier. It’s been quite a turnaround for the Red Devils under second-year coach Kelly Spivey. South Fulton went 0-10 in 2006 and 1-9 in 2007 before going 6-4 last season.
