With his graduation, others will have to step forward this season. At the forward spot, look for production from senior Chris Whitten, a 6-5 guy who will be very important when it comes to rebounding and defense. Carnesha Bradley was the only player to score in double figures Tuesday night in Savannah as Hardin County defeated McNairy Central 40-37 in girls’ basketball action. Bradley hit a pair of threes and finished with 12 points to lead the way for Hardin County. Kayla Brown led McNairy with nine points and Katie Forsythe added seven. Hardin County led 31-22 after three quarters before a late surge from McNairy made things interesting down the stretch.
