Madison Academic junior guard Riley Morgan doesn’t get as much publicity as a lot of other players in West Tennessee. That could be changing soon. Madison has several key district games coming up down the stretch.  But with Morgan running the show and some experienced seniors also performing well, District 15-A opponents would be unwise to overlook them.

The Lady Mustangs have already beaten Class 2A such as USJ (twice), Lexington, Chester County and McNairy Central, plus St.  Benedict, a large DII school in Memphis. “We’re getting better as we go,” said Patterson, “but we’re still getting a feel for each other.”Senior Morgan Faulkner, a 5-11 forward, has led the way in the scoring department, averaging around 28 points a game. Three more seniors – Hope  Patterson, Sarah Sopcak and Miriah Bell –…
