The Cougars will take on White Station Friday night in round two. Kirby got on the board when Tyrone Clark picked off a Danny Potter pass and returned it 50 yards for the score. Deion Woods hit Fred Plummer on a 60-yard touchdown pass later in the period and threw a short touchdown pass to Storm Johnson to make the score 21-0.
