Some serious firepower graduated for sure, but don’t look for a slip from this group. Darren Dunbar, a 6-6 senior who just wrapped a successful season as the team’s quarterback, can play. Photo by Jeff Ireland Quan Campbell and Darren Dunbar each had big games Friday at Crump Stadium in Memphis and Humboldt defeated Douglass 33-14 in the first round of the Class 2A state playoffs. The Vikings (7-4) will travel to Adamsville Friday night for round two. Humbold led 21-14 at the half before Dunbar hit Campbell on a 29-yard touchdown pass and Campbell scored on a two-yard run in the fourth quarter to put the game away. Dunbar hit Antonio Brooks on a 19-yard touchdown pass in the first quarter after Humboldt recovered a Douglass fumble on the opening kickoff.
