Photo by: Lori Shelton 08-09 Record:  10-15, district tourney Head Coach:  Jerrod Shelton District: 13-A Returning Starters G - Abby East (Sr.) G - Kiara Williams (Sr.) G - Demi Brasfield (Jr.) F - Jasmine Johnson (Sr.) Starters Lost G - Contance King 09-10 Outlook District 13-AA is nothing short of brutal, but the Lady Cavs have the experience to make some headway this season.  Seniors Abby East and Kiara Williams both averaged 11 points per game last season and are expected to lead the way.  Jasmine Johnson, a 5-8 senior post, averaged 10 points and 8.5 rebounds last season.  Junior guard Demi Brasfield gained a lot of experience last season.  Seniors Chassity Lillard and Jordan Wells, juniors Becca Richards and Kailey Rigby and sophomore…

Obion wins matchup of undefeated teams

Obion County got a big night from senior Chassidy Fussell Tuesday night to remain undefeated and hand Crockett County its first loss of the season. Fussell, a Texas signee, scored a game-high 27 points as the Lady Rebels (5-0) cruised to a 70-40 win. Katie Pate and Brandi Goodman each added 10 points for the winners. Jasmine Johnson led Crockett (3-1) with 12 points and Abby East added eight. Obion County jumped out to a 21-6 first quarter lead and never looked back.
