Milan rolls past Camden, into semifinals

Photo by Sam Hays Different game, same story. There’s a been a constant theme all year as Milan has rolled to a 13-0 record:  dominant play from seniors Jobronski Gilbert and Avery Williamson. That was the story again Friday night in the Class 3A state quarterfinals as the Bulldogs rolled to a 42-7 win over Camden. Gilbert and Williamson each had two touchdowns, and Williamson played stellar defense as Milan moved on to the state semifinals against York Institute. Camden (11-2), playing without injured quarterback Michael Gaskin, trailed just 14-0 at the half. But Gilbert and Williamson each ran for their second touchdowns of the game in third quarter and Zach Ryan hit Dominique Moore on a 27-yard touchdown pass to put the game out…
