Starters Lost F - Terrance Williams F - Bobby Elkins 09-10 Outlook Head coach Wesley Miller played a lot of young guys last year and that should pay off this season. Sophomore Ricky Foster (12 ppg, 5 rpg) had a huge freshman season as did sophomore guard Demarius Adams (11 ppg, 2 apg).  Look for more from those players this season.  Senior point guard Reggie Elkins returns to run the offense after averaging five points and five assists a game last year. Kirby makes big lead hold up against Brighton

Photo by Fred Brooks Kirby jumped out to a 21-0 lead Friday night in Brighton and defeated the Cardinals 49-21 in the first round of the Class 6A state playoffs. The Cougars will take on White Station Friday night in round two. Kirby got on the board when Tyrone Clark picked off a Danny Potter pass and returned it 50 yards for the score. Deion Woods hit Fred Plummer on a 60-yard touchdown pass later in the period and threw a short touchdown pass to Storm Johnson to make the score 21-0. Potter hit John Osborne and James Murray on touchdown passes in the second quarter to make the score 21-14 at the half. But the second half belonged to Kirby as Woods threw two…
