
Photo by Jeff Ireland Briarcrest struck early and often Friday night at home against Booker T. Washington on homecoming night and came away with a convincing 41-0 win. Three touchdowns in the game’s first 13 minutes put an end to any hopes the Warriors had of spoiling homecoming for the Saints. Michael Johnson found Barrett Hanks on a 16-yard touchdown pass to the start the scoring and a six-yard touchdown run by Nick Read followed soon thereafter to put the Saints ahead 14-0. Johnson struck again in the opening minute of second quarter when he found Trey Becton in the corner of the endzone to push the lead to 20-0.

Senior Brian Payne can make a difference at defensive end. Also keep an eye on seniors Anthony Benson and Rondarious Johnson.
