Arlington defeats Millington, remains perfect

Photo/story by Thomas Sellers Jr. The District 14-3A championship was on the line Friday night in Millington. The hosting Trojans were looking for its third straight title. With just under three minutes to go and Arlington trailing 14-13, Poole hit Jordan Leakes on a 70-yard pass play to the Craigmont 10. Two plays later he hit Jake Boring on a five-yard touchdown pass with 1:50 left to help the Tigers move to 9-0 overall and 5-0 in District 14-AAA. Arlington led 13-0 in the first half after a pair of field goals by Kyle Mitchell and a 38-yard touchdown pass from Poole to Adam Sanders. But Craigmont…
